Why System 1?

The primary issue for any filtration system is how effectively it reduces the amount of contaminates in the system. A growing concern in these environmentally sensitive times is also the oil drain intervals and related disposal issues. Approximately 400 million oil filters are used annually in the U.S. alone! The disposal of these filters generates approximately 170,000 tons of scrap metal and 90 million gallons of used oil. Here is where System 1 Filters come in. They have developed and patented a high flow filter system designed to dramatically extend the life of lubricants and thereby reduce disposal requirements.

The System 1 Filter spins onto the existing receptacle and requires no special tools. The cleaning of the filter element can be done effectively with soap and water. The process generally takes under two minutes and the filter is immediately placed back into service. The filter is designed to last a lifetime. Another unique feature of the System 1 filter system is that it can be used as an inspection tool. It is very easy to see what is going on inside your engine.
